My love for Japanese culture began in my early years and later led me to study Japanese at university. Alongside the language, I was drawn to the art, stationery, and the care and thought behind everyday design.

Over time, this interest grew into collecting Japanese stationery and creating my own illustrations as a hobby. Wanting a space that brought these two things together, The Terry Turtle Co was born.

The name Terry comes from a stuffed turtle my partner bought for me as a gift during one of our early visits to Sea Life London, a small but meaningful keepsake that helped shape the heart of the brand.

Today, The Terry Turtle Co is a place where Japanese stationery and original illustrated artwork sit side-by-side, combining the two things I love most and sharing them in one creative space.
